As the pandemic rages, it makes increasing sense to use virtual reality training to help everyday people administer naloxone (Narcan) to people experiencing an overdose. As the Inquirer reports, this type of training has been scientifically vetted by recent Annenberg School for Communication graduate Natalie Herbert, Ph.D., and her colleagues and proven to work as well as in-person training.
